If you love farmers markets, you know Townie Frozen Desserts. Stephen & Robin are two of the kindest people who are filled with life, love, and laughter. They have built a beautiful life and this year will celebrate their 40th year together. The past few years have been particularly challenging from bringing their amazing business through a pandemic, to taking Robin's 87-year-old mom into their home to care for her full-time, to losing several of their furry family members. They have done this with grace and gratitude. Now they need our help! Stephen survived cancer once before in 2006 and as a result lost his left kidney. He's had numerous surgeries including quadruple bypass, shoulder repair, and surgery for diverticulitis. He has over twenty surgical scars on his body. Now, once again, he is preparing to battle cancer after being diagnosed on July 12, 2024, with pancreatic cancer. The news was shocking and devastating. The dessert business is their main source of income and completely dependent on them in all ways. It's a physically demanding job, one they have enjoyed, but we know he will need to save strength to beat cancer once again. Robin & Stephen invested everything they have into starting up their business. We are asking for your help so they can manage medical costs and everything else associated with a cancer diagnosis, caring for Robin's mother in their home, and owning a small business. If you can donate any amount to help them beat cancer, it will be so appreciated.
