My name is Michelle Snow and I started this fundraiser for my wonderful sister who was recently diagnosed with stage 3 cervical cancer. Stephanie is an upstoppable force and an incredible sister, wife, and mom. She started her nursing school journey while being a single mom of two kids, graduated in the middle of the pandemic, and then took on the task of being assigned to a COVID unit shortly after graduation. It was during nursing school when she met her husband Branden, an Army veteran and dad to four awesome kids. Stephanie and Branden have been building their lives together in North Carolina where she has been working recently as a pediatric RN. Fast forward to June when they discovered she had cervical cancer. After scans seemed to show that the cancer hadn't spread, surgery was scheduled for June 5th to remove the mass. Unfortunately, during surgery it was discovered that the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes. Stephanie will now begin 7 weeks of simultaneous chemo and radiation therapy on July 10th. Due to recovering from surgery, she has been on leave from work since June 5th and insurance doesn't cover the full cost of her treatments. We are hoping that anyone who wants to help alleviate this financial burden and offer support has the option to do so through this fundraiser. Even if you can't contribute financially, we also accept all prayers, thoughtful words, and encouragement! I believe Stephanie's warrior spirit can fight this, so let's show her she's not alone.
