Hi, my name is Louise and I am currently residing in Trollhättan, Sweden. My husband with our 2 children moved here in Sweden last November of 2024. I am fundraising for Shiela, my brother's partner, the mother of my 3-year-old nephew Levi and a strong woman who is currently battling breast cancer stage 4. Shiela was diagnosed with breast cancer last March of 2024 and from then on has been in and out of the hospital. She has been through a lot in the past few months. She was diagnosed with Leptomeningeal metastases (cancer cells have spread to the thin tissue layers covering the brain and spinal cord) just a few short months ago, and she has been undergoing treatment ever since. The treatment has been very difficult, and it has taken a toll on her both physically and emotionally. Despite all of this, Shiela has remained positive and hopeful. She is determined to beat this cancer, and she is grateful for the support of her loved ones and friends. However, the cost of treatment and recovery for the last 1 year has been a major financial burden for them. They have already spent a lot of money on treatment, laboratories, private duty nurses, medical supplies, medicines, and Doctor's fees, and they are facing even more expenses in the coming months. The whole family has also exhausted a lot of effort and money to support Shiela but has also been drained. That is why I am knocking on your heart today to ask for your help. Any donation, no matter how small, would greatly help and be appreciated. Shiela, my brother, and my nephew need our help so some of their financial stress can be lifted.
