Hello everyone! I’m setting up this LFEBridge account for my dear friend, Shelley Knight. Shelley was in a horrible motorcycle wreck almost 17 years ago and became a double amputee through no fault of her own. She lost her right arm and left leg, both above the joint. Almost every bone in her body was broken. Her lungs collapsed, her spleen was lacerated and she has two 7” screws holding her pelvis together. Not to mention the fact that she bled out twice, almost lost her remaining leg and had a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI); a hemorrhage to the frontal lobe.  She also has bursitis to the right hip and a torn ACL on the right knee. Due to this horrible trauma, she has had 17 surgeries as a result. Since the wreck, she now has seizures consistently and is experiencing unbearable pressure inside her skull. She was recently diagnosed with a condition call Chiari Malformation. Just this past Friday, July 14th she had a surgery called a Chiari Decompression, where the doctors go in and remove a portion of the skull to relieve the pressure on the brain. We are asking, if you are able, to donate to help her with her ongoing medical expenses, that have accumulated throughout her life-long recovery process. She wants to thank you all for your compassion, generosity, and loving kindness of support with prayers.
