However, the news that awaited her was far worse. It was discovered that she had a large malignant mass on her vertebrae, which had been further damaged due to the fracture. After further medical evaluation, Shanda was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer.As if the diagnosis itself weren't devastating enough, Shanda has also been faced with additional hardships. She was denied both unemployment benefits and disability assistance, leaving her in a difficult position where she is unable to support herself financially during this challenging time. With mounting medical bills and the need for ongoing treatment, Shanda's situation has become increasingly precarious.We, as Shanda's family and friends, are determined to do everything in our power to support her during this difficult journey.
