Hello! My name is Shani and I'm creating this LFEBridge to help my best friend Sara Walling recover from a very difficult medical event this weekend. As most of you know, Sara is an amazing friend, daughter, colleague, pet mom, and all around bada**. On Friday July 14th, my husband Lawson, who often works with Sara on her job sites, received a call from her Project Manager requesting a quick check-in since she hadn't shown up to work. She loves her job and takes so much pride in being a foreman, so this was clearly out of character for her. Lawson found her unresponsive at her apartment after a particularly bad seizure episode, and really, just in time. While Sara had been monitored for related issues, she has never experienced anything of this magnitude. She was rushed to the ER and spent 4 days in the MICU and is suffering from a fractured shoulder, soreness and bruises overall, and memory loss and brain fog from the episode. She will need to take time off of work to properly recover and lower her stress, as well as adjust to new medications. Every bit helps, and ultimately we'd like to reduce the stress of upcoming bills as much as possible. Please share this with friends and your network.
