Our friend Ryan is the most humble person you’ll meet. Never have I heard him complain about his diagnosis and what he goes through daily battling cancer. He’s such a genuine person and friend and he needs our help. Being diagnosed with a brain tumour at just 18 years old when you’re meant to be in the peak of your life, Ryan has endured more than most of us will in their life. He’s exhausted his treatment options here in Australia and has been told he’s ‘untreatable’. Giving up is not an option Therefore he has explored more treatment options overseas and came across a treatment plan based in Mexico that he is a suitable patient for. Intra-thecal immunotherapy. Another chance at beating this cruel diease. The only downfall is that treatment is extremely expensive and needs to be paid upfront before it can start. The treatment itself is $141,000 US dollars (over $200,000 AUS) and then there is the hospital fees ($18,000 per procedure and 6 procedures is what is needed) travel and accommodation expenses, the list goes on. Now more than ever he needs our help to financially get him to Mexico to start treatment and prolong his life.
