I will try to make this short, but also as informative as possible. Most of you know my son Rusty was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer around 2 years ago. NK/TCell Lymphoma Nasal Type. Before that, the cancer was causing a growth on his leg. That has still not healed completely, but is much better. He and wound care fought for a diagnosis for around 6 months before getting the correct one. The biopsies and all the visits to wound care added up very quickly. Rusty has been able to work and continue to get paid during this time, but he has been extremely sick, and is extremely sick now. Just regular medical bills, and those that haven't been covered have become overwhelming. As Rusty has told me in confidence a few times, being sick is very expensive. Rusty was raised by his mother and I in a way that we do not put our hand out. We should have started this a long time ago, but Rusty and his family are to a point where their finances are no longer comfortable and they've been that way for quite some time. Rusty is fighting to get back into remission so he can get a stem cell transplant. Stem Cell Transplant from a donor is Rusty's only chance for long term survivability. He and his family are at a point they need to focus less on the day-to-day things like finances and focus more on rest and getting the right treatment, with less worry about all the bills and neglect to their home and upkeep, etc. Treatment is very rough right now, but will get worse and tough decisions will have to be made financially. Rusty will have to go on short term disability at some point, and as excellent as his insurance is, short term will make finances even tighter. Rusty has a Caring Bridge Page that you can get updates and read about his journey. I encourage you to visit his Caring Bridge to learn more about the last few years. We humbly ask that you consider giving to this Go Fund Me to help his family with medical bills, and medical related expenses, as all donations will be used for medical care. https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/rustywebb
