Hello, my name is Rick Newman. On June 23, I was in a motorcycle accident and was laying in a ditch for a few hours unable to be located. By God's grace, the family I now call my Guardian Angels were traveling during the late hours of the morning moving to the exact city where I reside and happened to see a slight portion of my bended knee poking out of the ditch. They proceeded to exit the Uhaul to confirm what they were seeing. As they approached me and confirmed what was real, they then reached out to the first responders to get an ambulance to the scene when they realized that I had been laying there for more than 2 hours in the dark of the night. I was taken to the hospital in the ambulance and found out the extent of my injuries. I have a small brain bleed, a small concussion, a left broken collar bone (had surgery to replace the bone and put a plate in), bruised liver, bruised lung, a torn tendon in my left knee and left elbow, and road rash. I am unable to walk or use my left arm until further notice. I am a father of a 5-year-old. At this time, I will be out of work for a while due to this unexpected turn of events and taking a massive hit on income and being unable to provide for my family. Please keep the family in your prayers.
