My name is RoAnna “Ro” Voytko, I am a single mother of three boys under the age 8. I own a country diner in my hometown of Colton, OR. Unfortunately there was a kitchen fire last April and the restaurant has been closed since. All the repairs have been made, the restaurant is ready to operate. Unfortunately, their was continual set-backs with the repairs, inspections, permits, and the time not being in business has depleted the budget for inventory and supplies in order to reopen.I have no other means of income, assistance, or savings to reopen at this point. This café is not only a loved fixture in the town, but sole livelihood for me and my children, as well as our home.My lifelong passion is for this restaurant and my hometown community. I am extremely involved and have contributed much to my community. For several years now, I host a free Holiday feast on Christmas and Thanksgiving Day open for the public. I am a volunteer Board Member of the Colton Telephone company, and I am a volunteer at Colton Fire Department. I have always employed people with disabilities, Veterans, and people in hardships. My heart is to help people, I love my community, and I love this restaurant. Because of my love and passion of Colton and to locals and in the community, the cafe is a registered nonprofit restaurant. The proceeds beyond operating budget will go to the community of Colton and help provide funding for things such as schools and community events, etc.I am asking for your help in order to reopen the Colton Cafe and continue my passion and drive for my hometown of Colton, while solely supporting myself and my 3 kids.Being that the Café is a non-profit, you may request a tax receipt if you provide your name and mailing address for your donation if you wish.Please help bring the Colton Café back to life and help my family keep our business and our home by making a donation today.
