Our sweet 4 yr old nephew, Dean Alexander (aka Deanie) Kelly, was transported by life flight yesterday to the Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT after falling out of a second story window. Dean was playing at the neighbor’s house when he climbed out of the bedroom window, following his friend’s lead, slipped and fell 25 feet onto the concrete driveway. My sister was at work when she got the call and rushed home to her baby boy just before they prepared him for transport. Dean spent the last 24 hours in the ICU and was just cleared this evening to be moved to the Neurotrauma ward where he will likely stay for a while. Deanie’s 5th birthday is also coming up in just a 1.5 weeks and we are hoping he’ll be feeling more like his usual happy, giggly self. Our family is absolutely devastated and praying that he will have a full recovery. We’re asking for prayers and donations to help my sister and brother-in-law with the mountain of medical bills that will follow.
