On June 17, 1996 my twin brother should have died. A helmet, a guardrail and the Grace of God saved his life that day, but the accident left him paralyzed. Most of the days between then and now I have prayed that someday he would walk again. I prayed for a medical miracle that would repair his spinal cord and he would be instantly able to walk, run, climb stairs and just about anything else an able-bodied person could do. Unfortunately, those prayers continue as that day has not yet arrived. However, technology has at least partially answered my prayers. Paul has recently started training on a ReWalk exoskeleton and as the video shows...he can walk! Unfortunately, the training program and ReWalk exoskeleton are not covered by insurance and cost approximately $80,000. I am trying to raise half of that amount for Paul. The funds will be used immediately to offset the cost of training and and any remaining funds will be used to eventually purchase Paul his own ReWalk exoskeleton. If you know Paul you are already familar with how active his lifestyle used to be.
