Hello, my name is Kim loving wife of Paul Barnes. My husband Paul has been suffering from chronic Kidney Disease for two years when. Four months ago his Kidneys completely failed. I had to rush him to the hospital for emergency dialysis, where they put a port in his chest, where he now gets dialysis three days a week / four hours a day. He now has to undergo this procedure for the rest of his life or until he can get a Kidney Transplant. He recently had a Kidney biopsy and they hit an Artery / Vein. He was rushed to the hospital and had to have seven blood transfusions because he was hemorrhaging inside the Kidney. This has been the hardest thing anyone can imagine. The machine is what keeps him alive, and without it, he would pass. Anyone who knew Paul would tell you he always made everyone laugh and helped everyone in need. He is a great and humble man. This terrible disease has robbed him of his every being. He no longer jokes, laughs or smiles. The little bit of energy he has left is put into trying to get through another dialysis treatment which leaves him incapacitated. Dialysis is very hard on the body. Please help Paul in this battle for his life and send all Donations if any to the Help Paul Smile, Laugh, & Live Again fund to help with the medical expenses of his Dialysis, future Kidney Transplant, and Medicine which are all so expensive. Paul was a member of the Brotherhood of Teamsters for 27 years as a Dockman. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. The one thing this awful disease can't rob him of is his big heart!!!
