On July 18th our beloved Patty Patty Patty was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident. A driver crossed into her lane and struck her head-on. She was briefly trapped in the vehicle before being extricated by the Derry Fire Department. Upon arrival at the Emergency room, it was discovered she has a multitude of injuries ranging from minor cuts to major broken bones. At this time her team of providers is estimating she will need to remain in the hospital for several days before being transferred to a rehab for a significant amount of time before she can get back on her feet and living independently. At this time we are doing a fundraiser to help with the associated costs of her stay. Donated money will help cover the costs of a dog walker, building equipment at her house so that she can safely enter and exit her home and the necessary equipment she will need once she can transfer back to her home. A very loud thanks to everyone that has reached out and offered to help, donate and shared their love for our incredibly strong Patty Patty Patty. We would also like to thank the Derry Police and Fire Department for their compassion and professionalism during this time. Additionally, enough thanks can not be given to the many hard-working men and women at the Elliot Hospital who are doing tremendous work to make sure my mother is comfortable and healing well. Thank you!
