Hello LFEBridge Community, In October of 2024, tragedy struck my life when I lost my beloved wife to a drunk driver. Amidst the overwhelming grief and the responsibility of raising our children alone, I discovered the power of music - it gave me solace and healing as this amazing community came together to help. With the desire to fill the void in my heart and to create a better future for my children, I decided to embark on a mission to give back to the world through the language of music. Washingtones Records is a record label founded with my dear friend and business partner Tim Mechling. We have both known the depths of sorrow, as he recently lost his father, and together we are dedicated to turning our pain into purpose. Washingtones stands for empowering talented musicians and supporting our people as they navigate through challenging times. We stand for supporting local musicians labels and businesses, and preserving what it's good about this area. Our dream is to create a platform that not only nurtures exceptional musical talent but also as a beacon of resilience and hope for those who face adversity. Our Vision: A Haven for Musicians: At Washingtones, we believe that every voice deserves to be heard. By providing aspiring musicians with the resources they need - from recording studio time to experienced production and marketing support - we aim to create products for bands/artists that will last decades to come. Music as a Balm: We understand the profound impact music can have on healing hearts and lifting spirits. Through Washingtones, we aspire to release songs that inspire, speak to, and heal those who face difficult life circumstances. As you might know, we hope to be the first record label in Washington state to invest in and distribute PET recyclable records. Polyethylene terephthalate is safer, more environmentallly friendly, and just as versatile as PVC, plus it's non toxic, it won't offgass volatile organic compounds over time, and it's %100 recyclable.
