Hi, my name is John and I am Hyunmi's son. Our (me and my sister) father has recently passed away due to unfortunate circumstances and our mother needs help with her mental healthcare in Korea. She has had severe mental health issues since 13 years ago but never received treatment for it while living with my dad. She suffers from hallucinations, has difficulty with social interaction, and is unable to work. There is also a language barrier that has kept her from getting help here in Canada. After our dad passed away, we sent our mother to relatives in Korea to receive emotional support as well as mental healthcare. Unfortunately, neither we nor our relatives in Korea have the financial means to provide for her full care. She is not a Korean citizen and does not have any medical benefits there. However, it is our only option as she is only willing to receive treatment there. Please support us to get our mother well enough to care for herself. With our dad being gone, she needs to get well enough so that she can continue living without him. Any amount will be of help and will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your understanding and support!
