Hello. My name is Joel and I'm fundraising on behalf of my friend Naseer Ahmad. Many of you have been generous when his daughter was being treated for medical issues at the end of last year into the early part of this year. I'm happy to report she is doing better and Naseer, his family and myself are so appreciative of the help you have sent to them previously. Naseer, however, is still a refugee in Pakistan having fled Afghanistan during the Taliban takeover. Things are not easy, as you can imagine, being a refugee in a foreign land but Naseer is doing the best he can to support his family. Having worked in pre-Taliban Afghanistan at Ground Station Kabul managing satellite communications, Naseer has the skills for gainful employment to help give his family a better life, and perhaps the opportunity to emigrate to safer environs, but he needs the tools namely a laptop to do research, take online classes and find an online job. To have more opportunities, simply put, he needs a laptop. As of now, he is limited to the use of his phone. After considering shipping a computer to him, concerns were raised about the likelihood of issues with customs so it was decided that I set up this LFEBridge so we may send him the cash so he can buy one himself as well as money for any internet fees that may need to be paid as he finds work. We hope you can find it in your hearts to once again contribute to this good cause and help a good man support himself and his family.
