Hi I’m Jocee! And this past week my mom was not feeling good and couldn’t clean the house she was working at. But she texted my dad that she wanted to go to the ER. After this my dad texted me and I came from work on my Lunch and was told it was most likely appendicitis so we were hopeful to be out of the hospital after the surgery! But then we got a room in the hospital and the surgeon came in and my mom said “ I have this mass I can feel!” The surgeons eyes kind of widen and he said “that feels like a tumor.” So after a not so good sleep at the hospital we both woke up and we were not super excited to hear for the next step. But the worse news hit us, she had 11in taken out of her plus some of the colon and a bit of the appendix. And the surgeon is 100% sure that it is colon cancer so through about 7 days in the hospital we will definitely need some help!
