Hi my name is Gabrielle and my family needs help repairing their home. Recently the city of Chicago received heavy rain and many areas suffered flooding. My parents reside in a basement apartment and were flooded out. Even with four water pumps running the water got high enough to touch the kitchen table. There is no assistance available for the area from red cross or Fema. Many things have were damaged beyond repair. Right now my parents primary concern is making the basement livable by replacing the structures that were submerged and badly damaged. The money raised will be used to replace the walls, the kitchen cabinets, doors and doorframe. Every bit will help and is greatly appreciated. Thank you
