My name is Frances and my beautiful daughter Alicia is 39yrs old an amazing single mother of a 9yr-old daughter. In April she was diagnosed with Triple negative breast cancer. It is a very aggressive cancer that can spread fast and often returns years later. She also found out she was pregnant around the same time. This narrows down her treatment plan options and timing is critical. She underwent a double mastectomy and had a port and tissue expanders put in at the same time early in June. She is recovering and will be starting chemotherapy treatments next month. There are only two kinds of chemo that can be taken while pregnant and only during the second and beginning of third trimester to not harm the baby. She has a good job but no vacation time and will not be getting paid for any time off she needs to take during chemo and during her 6-week maternity leave. She’s having a baby girl due November 8th. Her and her daughter moved back into our home last year after splitting with her now ex-husband, but due to space she and her daughter have been sharing a room. We are asking for donations to help her pay bills, prepare and buy things for the new baby. We are also hoping to raise enough money that she may be able to put down on a home for her and her 2 girls. I personally know how hard physically and mentally this disease can be on an indivual, I beat Breast Cancer two times and my duaghter was there taking care of me when I went through it, it is important to me that I am here for her now. **For every $5 donated we will donate $1 to the Susan G.
