Hi, my name is Gabriel, and I'm fundraising to help my queer lil family (fAMously known as Monstergarten) pay rent and bills while I'm out of work in a substance use treatment program. Monstergarten consists of three nominal humans of the millennial generation (a library unicorn, a sales rep bear, and a data entry goblin) and three cats with a lot of needs, according to them. About a month ago, I (the data entry goblin) hit a crisis point with my alcohol use disorder and checked myself into a detox/residential treatment program. In case you're wondering, it's going great so far! I hope to return to normal soon, but for now, we are struggling to make rent and bill payments. Furthermore, our library unicorn is going back to school in a few weeks to finish their library studies and secure a future in the library world! tl;dr: We have lost a third of our regular income while I'm in treatment, and we could use your help.
