Hi my names Lucie and I’ve seen my beloved struggle for so long that I’ve decided to reach out for support . Our dear friend and brother from another mother, Mikhaïl Shearman, survived a near death motorcycle accident last September. The other driver was found completely at fault, running a red light. Unfortunately, they were severely under-insured, leaving Mikhail without any financial support following this tragedy. Mikhail has survived so many hardships in his short life, losing his mother at a young age, and despite this has always had light, joy, and love to share with anyone he meets. For the past 11 months, Mikhail has been waiting for his doctors to determine if they could repair his extensive arm injuries, but due to the severity of the nerve damage, the decision was ultimately reached to amputate his right arm last month. Mikhail has lost so much since the accident, from his successful full time job, growing side business and his home - he now struggles to do menial tasks to take care of himself due to his constant and overwhelming nerve pain. Mikhail lives alone and far from his family, leaving him financially and emotionally all on his own. I have started this Go Fund Me in the hope that we can support Mikhail to afford to seek help with his nerve pain, including a doctor who specializes in peripheral neuropathy, an osteopath, and acupuncturist. Once Mikhail can better control his pain, he start looking for work again and get back on his feet. He has been told by doctors that he will likely suffer nerve pain for the rest of his life, so anything you can do to help him in his goal to find professional help with this, is greatly appreciated. Mikhail has always had a 'pay it forward' attitude, giving his last dollar to someone else in need.
