If you’re here, you probably already know what a funny, hard-working, and all around wonderful person that Michael “Mike” is. He is truly an exceptional father, husband, brother, son/grandson, nephew and friend. He would do absolutely anything for anyone, no questions asked. On July 11, after a routine physical, Mike was admitted to the hospital with significantly abnormal lab results. After days of tests, he learned that he was in end-stage kidney failure, and that at only 33 years old, he will need to begin dialysis until he can receive a kidney transplant. Mike is young, healthy, and strong- this news was shocking. He is an incredible husband, and an amazing father to his two young babies; this has been such a challenge to navigate. Mike and Nicole will be forced to take time away from work while Mike adjusts to dialysis treatments, and eventually, a transplant. Mike has, and will continue to incur significant medical expenses.
