Hi, my name is Stephanie and I am fundraising for a good friend and coworker of mine Melanie Rimes. I'm sure many of you have met people in your lives that touch your heart and really touch it. Melanie is definitely one of those people who have touched mine and so many others. Words that come to mind when describing Melanie are caring, thoughtful, amicable, precious, beautiful smile, heart and soul and simply irreplaceable. Melanie currently has stage 2 COPD and a stint in her heart due to suffering from a heart attack in 2009. Now, she has a fight against breast cancer which she just recently found out about. She will start chemotherapy treatment the week of August 7, 2024, with surgery planned in the very near future. Melanie will be unable to work while undergoing treatment, due to the risks associated with chemotherapy treatment and the effects treatment can have on the immune system, as well as her recovery after surgery. For anyone who may be asking what they can do to help Melanie in her fight, I ask you to help with a small donation to help her in her time of need.
