Hello, my name is Mark LaPointe and recently I was diagnosed with stage 3 rectal cancer. This took me out of the working world and left me and my family with no income. So I am asking for help from anyone that can help us get thru these next few months, while I beat this cancer thing! My wife is a amputee in a wheelchair and also just retired from working with the local school and now has no income also. We are both applying for disability but this process can take many months. Up until a few months ago I was working in the bowling industry as a installer for bowling alley products machines and score boards, working mostly on the east coast part of the country. Unfortunately I don't believe that I will be able to return to work until sometime next summer when all my treatments are done ( chemo and radiation and infusions. So far the treatments going well, the side effects are minimal and the results are positive.). That's a long time to have to pay household bills like electric, heat, food, fuel, insurance, and the list goes on. So with having no real income I'm relying on the little savings there is and the help of friends and family, and I can't expect that any of these are going to last forever. To make matters more interesting, we just lost my wifes van to the flash floods, and the house furnace needs to be replaced before this heating season. Thank you for your time and help. Mark LaPointe
