Hi, my name is Shianne I’m fundraising for my brother Shay. He was involved in a hit and run a couple months ago. Also, he’s been homeless for the past 4 years. The person that hit my brother left his leg broke on both sides. Being that my brother is homeless his leg is terribly infected now. My brother is now showing signs of Gangrene caused by his leg which is, a life threatening infection. He needs crucial medical attention. There’s no doubt in my mind, he’s going to lose his leg. I don’t have the financial support I need to help support my brothers recovery. After I get him to a hospital I’m hoping I can get him an apartment with the funds raised here so he does not have to go back to the streets. I live in a whole different city from him. I constantly worry about him. If he could live with me he would have a long time ago. I feel ashamed for having to do this.. This isn’t my story to tell. If it were up to him he would struggle alone.. My brother has had a rough life since the beginning. We were raised by our grandparents and in 2018 when my grandmother past away his life has totally went down hill. I feel like I’ve reached a dead end.. I have no help from family (who are in the same city as him) we have no one. I don’t want to lose my brother to the streets or to this infection. I know my brother does not want this lifestyle. He just doesn’t have anyone. I’m trying to do everything I can do to best support him. I’m here to ask anyone who’s willing to help me, help him please anything goes a long way. 100% of the funds raised will go directly to my brother for medical bills , an apartment, clothes, hygiene supplies & any other necessities he may need. He has always supported me when I needed him, now it’s time for me to return the favor. Help me get him off the streets, into a hospital, back to the goofy bubbly person he is. Thank you in advance.
