Hi, My name is Lilly Grace, and my dad is Patrick Kelly. I'm doing this to help him raise money for the medical bills. On June 29th, 2024 he had a hemorrhage that flooded his right eye with blood, which also turned out to be a detached Retina. He has had a cataract in his left eye and had been trying to schedule surgery for almost a year. He has gone completely blind in his left eye from this cataract. He just recently had to change doctors to try to get this problem solved. The hemorrhage happened a few months after he went completely blind in his left eye, leaving him completely blind with no sight at all. He had emergency surgery on July 3, 2024. He now has surgery scheduled for his left eye. He has been out of work since the 29th and has used up all of his PTO, savings, and etc. Meaning he has no income. And will have several weeks of no income even after returning to work. Insurance covers a lot but not all of it, there are still several thousands of dollars that need to be covered out of pocket. Just one of these surgeries is over $4,000 even after insurance. There are still bills that have not yet come In. Not to mention the cost of rent, bills, and food. Me and my dad have always tried to help others, knowing one day we might have to count on the kindness of strangers.
