My neighbor Martha Jon and her husband David are some of the most unselfish, compassionate, loving people you could ever have the pleasure of meeting. Martha and her husband David have been foster parents, have adopted two beautiful girls and always find time to help others. Three years ago Martha was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Her family has depleted all their savings in order to fight her cancer. Unfortunately the cancer has spread and she will require an aggressive therapy which will require a lengthy stay in the hospital. Since being diagnosed with cancer, Martha has been a strong fighter. Her will to live and to be a mother for her children inspires me to help her fight her battle. When she was first diagnosed she was given less than a year to live. That was over three years ago. But the battle has taken its toll on both her body and her finances. With permission from both Martha and David, I have started this Go Fund Me campaign to help cover the medical expenses they will need for this “last hope” therapy.
