Hello everyone!Thank you for taking the time to look at my LFEBridge page. I have the amazing oppurtunity of traveling to South Africa Summer 2016 for a study aborad trip through Texas State University. I am in my junior year of getting my early childhood education degree. My passion is working with underserved children. When I am an elementary school teacher my goal is to work with at-risk children at a low-income school. This trip would be an amazing experience for me because it would show me underpriviledged children in a different country. I will be their teacher for four whole weeks from July to August. We work with the children daily and even work with them after school in various clubs. We also work with an orphanage after school to give love and trusting relationships with adults to the children there. Obviously, the trip is pretty expensive but I don't want to let the cost hold me back from helping these amazing kids. I would be so very appreciative of anything you could give! I have attached a video of the actual trip my classmates took last year. I can't wait to meet and work with these beautiful childern.
