Dear Friends, Family, and Caring Hearts, At just 33 years old, Matt, a talented computer programmer at a thriving start-up, was recently faced with a devastating diagnosis. What started as a trip to the ER for persistent headaches last month led to the shocking discovery of a brain tumor. With incredible strength, Matt underwent successful brain surgery to remove the tumor thanks to the top-notch medical team at Baptist Hospital in Miami, FL, and is now on the path to recovery. However, initial biopsy results suggest that the tumor is a malignant glioma, and we await the final results from comprehensive molecular testing to determine the best treatment plan. MRI scans pre- and post-surgery While Matt focuses on healing, expenses have already reached $12,000, even with insurance coverage. As he prepares for radiation, chemotherapy, and other critical treatments, we anticipate more significant financial challenges. Matt currently lives in Miami, FL with his husband, Albert, and their two rescue dogs, Brodie and Malakai. Supporting him from Canada is a tight-knit family network, including his caring mom, supportive sisters, cherished niece and nephew, loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and ever-present grandparents. They provide unwavering support, but the financial strain is overwhelming. Your generosity can make a profound difference in Matt's life. Every donation to his LFEBridge campaign, regardless of the amount, will help alleviate the burden of medical expenses, ensuring Matt can focus on his recovery. Please share Matt's story with your network, amplifying our call for assistance. Your contribution will be a beacon of hope, no matter how small. Let us show Matt the power of compassion and unity, illuminating his path to healing. On behalf of Matt, Albert, their beloved furry companions, and our entire family, we express our deepest gratitude for your love, support, and generosity.
