Hello, My name is Lydia, and I'm currently in treatment for stage 4 colorectal cancer. I am blessed to be the mother of three beautiful sons, ages 16, 11, and 1. I have a wonderful partner in life, music, and love, Chevo. And I'm a professor at UT Austin. This fall semester, I'll be undergoing surgery and intensive chemotherapy, which will impact my ability to work and care for my family. Chevo will also have to take time off from work to help with the kids and my care and to assist me in what work I'm able to perform. We are fundraising to defray some of the medical costs of my treatment and to offset the income lost from navigating my care. Thank you in advance for your support through this difficult time!
