Hi, Callie here. I work for a small gardening and landscaping company called Jasmine's Gardens in Boone, North Carolina. My coworker, Lisa, has recently been having trouble with her health and has had to take off a couple months of work so far. Lisa is our ultimate crew leader!!! She has been with the company for I believe six or seven years and knows all the ins and outs of how to take care of and make spaces beautiful, talk with clients, and get to know them and their gardens. Not only does she care for the land, but she takes beautiful care of her crew, always checking to make sure each person is okay, always caring, always giving. She tells wild stories ranging anywhere from hilarious things that have happened on the job to deep and emotional stories about her family. When she talks a movie plays in my head... especially when I might have heard the story before. ;) She is always quick to give really great advice when you're struggling with work, but also life. Lisa is a wild woman!!! She is all at once strong, sweet, smart, funny, kind, caring, and hardworking. We miss her dearly at work and are hoping that this LFEBridge will be able to help her out. Please help us take care of her the way she has tended for her crews and the land. The money raised will be given to Lisa to cover the cost of her bills as she is unable to work while in this period of healing.
