Hi everyone! My name is Elisabeth Draughon. I live in Mount Airy, NC with my husband, daughter, and a baby on the way. I created this LFEBridge page on behalf of my father, Gene Jacobs, who lives in Conway, AR. In January 2024, he was diagnosed with late stage Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. He has spent almost a year now getting chemotherapy and other various therapies/fusions. In the last few months, the treatment plan had hit several roadblocks due to insurance interfering. We thought things were turning around when he was accepted for a clinical trial in Maryland a few months ago, but my dad has been too unstable to see it through. His levels and bloodwork have been in a normal enough range to be considered for the trial again. Praying that he can remain stable through Christmas so that he can resume the clinical trial in Maryland. A few months ago, I started this LFEBridge page in the hopes of helping my dad financially. I ended up putting the fundraiser on hold because I thought some opportunities were lining up for him, but unfortunately, they had fallen through. For the holiday season, I’m reopening the fundraiser in hopes of people donating what they can to help my dad and his wife, Misty. They sacrificed so much of their time and money to stay with me throughout losing our second daughter last December, all I want to do is return the favor. Please continue to pray for my dad and Misty as they are in the thick of it.
