Hi, my name is Kierra, I’ve made this campaign on behalf of my loving and fearless mother Latoya. For the past three years, my mom has been fighting very hard to regain steady employment after being laid off from her role of 17 years at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. With the help of job opportunities via temp agencies and savings, she, I and those closest to us have managed to maintain her bills and quality of life up to this point of devastating news. This past April my mom has been diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer and will need to undergo treatment which will unfortunately pause her job search efforts and place even greater financial strain on our family. I am hoping with the aid of my friends and extended family we can give her some peace of mind while she undergoes treatment. Any amount of support, monetary, or otherwise would be appreciated.
