Dear friends, family and compassionate strangers. We are reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits for Kylie Santos and her mom Leslie Del Moral. On Monday June 26, Leslie took little three-year-old Kylie to the emergency room because an ear infection was becoming possibly life-threatening. After tests were done, the doctors told Leslie the bad news---the reason the ear infection was so severe was because Kylie had little to no white blood cells due to the fact she had cancer. Since that day, Kylie has been hospitalized at Children's Methodist Hospital to treat her diagnosis of pre-cursor B cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Leslie has been tirelessly by Kylie's side 24/7 during her hospitalization. Leslie has not been able to work at either of her two jobs and with no savings to speak of, Leslie will burn through what little money she gets through hospital financial assistance quickly. Kylie's doctors have a good treatment plan in place but anticipate it can take up to 12 months or more. Leslie is now at a point where she has to do something she has never done before---ask for help. As the sole income earner for her small family of three girls, single mom Leslie will not have any income for some time to pay for monthly bills, food, medication and gas expenses she needs to support Kylie. Leslie is now reaching out with a heartfelt request for donations. Kylie is a little warrior fighting this huge tremendous disease. The road ahead is long but with your help, Leslie can provide the best possible support for her throughout this journey. Every dollar raised will lessen the financial strain on Leslie, allowing her to focus on being there for Kylie. If you would like to donate through alternative methods: $Lesssluv on Cashapp. Leslie is also has Venmo. With heartfelt gratitude from Leslie, Aubree, Zay and Kylie.
