A very close friend of mine and of many others has been in and out of the hospital for the last several months. Kristine Casey has over 30 year's working at the Bristol Renaissance Faire. You probably know her as Evil Red from the Pirate Ship "The Sea Ratt", or from the bar's Black Friar for over 20 years then Queens Indugence but now she is managing the new bar called 5'oclock. She developed a blockage in her intestines and had that section removed in an emergency surgery. She's been in and out of the hospital for over a month with 2 surgeries and 5 CT scans. She was on the mend. However, complications have occurred resulting in infections and have had her back in the ER and hospitalized for over a week. She was released for a few day's, but right back into the ER. Her insurance doesn't cover everything, and with Kris not being able to work and the hospital bills piling up, we are humbly asking for help. If you can spare a couple cents, or a couple dollar's, it is very much appreciated. Every little bit helps. Let's face it. These day's, a penny is a penny.
