Many of you who know the Kuhar/Rasich family have been following Kaylee's journey since her birth. Unfortunately, she has been diagnosed with a genetic disorder called KCNA1, which is extremely rare and comes with severe epilepsy. This condition has caused delays in her development and extreme sensory-seeking behaviors, for which she receives therapy. Kaylee's condition requires constant hospital visits and expensive medications that are always changing. These unexpected hospital stays often force her parents to take time off work, leading to financial distress. This is an ongoing battle for Kaylee and her family, but we believe there are ways we can make it easier for them. We are starting a fundraising campaign to support Kaylee in getting the medical help she needs that insurance doesn't cover. There are many instances where Kaylee's parents have caught major seizure attacks while she was sleeping, saving her life. To provide even more assistance, we would like to possibly raise funds to get Kaylee a seizure support dog as well. These dogs can be life-changing, but they come with a hefty price tag, often reaching up to $30,000 or more. This is where we need our friends, family, and community to come together. We kindly ask you to consider donating if possible, or perhaps exploring alternative ways to help us reach this goal. Every contribution and gesture of support will be immensely appreciated by Kaylee and her family. We are open to any suggestions that can help us provide Kaylee with the support she deserves. [email redacted] Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love and support. Let's rally together and make a difference for Kaylee and her family!
