Hello everyone, I'm reaching out on behalf of my mother, Juanita Mejia, a vibrant, loving mother, grandmother, and friend, who has recently been diagnosed with osteonecrosis, a condition that causes bone tissue death due to a lack of blood supply. This condition has severely affected her jawbone, impacting her quality of life and making everyday activities like speaking and eating incredibly challenging. Juanita needs a zygomatic implant, a special kind of dental implant that, unlike traditional types, can be used even in severe cases of jawbone loss. This procedure can give my mother the chance to smile, eat, and speak without pain or difficulty again. However, the cost of this life-changing procedure is significant and is not covered by health insurance. We're aiming to raise $50,000 to cover the cost of the zygomatic implant procedure, post-op care, and any potential complications that might arise. This includes the surgeon's fee, hospital stay, anesthesia, and any necessary medications. My mother has always been the first to help others in need, and now it's our turn to help her.
