Jill has been battling Stage 4 Endometriosis, a chronic illness that affects her entire abdominal cavity and proper function of her GI & other internal organs. 10 years ago, Jill had a partial hysterectomy and after 9 surgeries full of many complications and a pulmonary embolism, she is facing her 10th and most extensive surgery. We believe she has found the right surgical team and specialist, and they have moved her up the list in terms of the date for surgery as she has been unable to really function in her life. The surgical team of doctors will be going in to remove the extensive endometriosis lesions by cutting them out (excision vs ablation) as they are prolific around her entire abdominal and chest cavity. Due to scar tissue and all the lesions, they are not allowing her GI tract, urinary tract and diaphragm to function properly, causing daily debilitating pain, amongst other complications. She will be having a total hysterectomy, along with extensive removal of scar tissue and endometriosis lesions. They may have to remove part of her intestines, colon and collapse her lungs to try and rid her body of most of the disease. Unfortunately there is no cure. She faces 8-12 weeks of recovery and needs our help with medical and life expenses.  Jill gives everyday to her friends and loved ones as well as the community she loves so much. She is self employed and has tried other routes to help cover the very high medical expenses with health insurance and Aflac. Unfortunately Aflac has denied any coverage due to pre-existing conditions. She needs our help right now to give her the opportunity to heal and be able to function normally again.
