Hi, my friends and I are asking for your support to help our beautiful friend, our best friend, who has been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Jess is a positive, kind loving mother, wife and friend who is going through not only finding out she has a life altering illness but is also 24 weeks pregnant with the news her son has Down syndrome. Jess is unable to work as she is caring for her children, Louie (4) & Tobi (11 months) while expecting her fourth baby. Jess had a sudden onset of symptoms which had her admitted into hospital with facial numbness and weakness on her left side. Some days, Jess is unable to perform simple tasks with everyday duties and the kids. Jess is finding it difficult to remember things and words. She has weakness on her left side and blurred vision. These symptoms lead Jess to hospital where she was sent home and told she had shingles. As her symptoms progressed Jess’ GP sent her for an MRI scan which lead to a diagnosis of MS with lesions at the base of her brain. This was at the same time when abnormalities were found on her 20 week scan. The 2 phone calls happened in the same week. Jess needs your support as the wait list for neurology appointments are 9 months in the public system. We need to raise money to cover up coming medical expenses. Jess is taking the necessary steps to get support from NDIS and receive government support as this takes time, we want to try and elevate as much financial pressure as possible. Jess and her husband Mark have been a huge support to others within their time of need, we need to support this amazing Family in their time of need.
