If you’ve been to DGB in the last 10 years you’ve probably met Jason (Staats), one of our most incredible bartenders. A friendly face to anyone who sees him, helpful and kind, he’s known by many as one of the best guys around. Outside of the bar Jason is a full time student, musician and band mate, and an amazing friend. If you see this Staatsy, we love you. We are sadly here to share that Jason has recently broken his Femur and will be unable to work for at least 6 weeks. We don’t know exactly how this will affect him, but we do know it will be a hard season. We also know many regulars and good friends will miss him in these coming weeks or months, and want to give an opportunity for anyone who would want to offer any amount of support or help to Jason during this difficult time. It is the sense of community we share with the people who frequent our establishment that is the greatest blessing any business could have, and we are so grateful to be able to share our greatest days and our not so great days with you all. Here’s to each of you, Cheers! update to say: WOW! You guys are absolutely incredible, we cannot believe the goal has been reached this quickly! This is beyond amazing, we have updated the goal to include Jason’s lost wages and medical expenses tor this time as when the fundraiser was made we didn’t know the full extent. We know Jason is so extremely grateful and touched beyond words at each of your generosity. A huge thank you to every person who has donated, shared, and supported this fundraiser.
