On the final day of June 2024, my mother, Hye Scott, was diagnosed with cancer in her liver and we were told that it's aggressively spreading. It came as a complete shock that the cancer was so far along already for the woman who has always served as someone who was always supportive of my career paths with a home that was always open whenever I was in between adventures. We are seeking to raise funds to help my mom pay the medical bills that have already built up and those that may continue to build in the future. Our savings are not much, especially after I spent a considerable period of time with recovering from a severe foot injury. Her chances of recovery are not good, so any remaining funds after medical costs are taken care of will go to memorial costs should she pass away. Hye is an amazing woman who immigrated to America from a South Korea still recovering from war, become a US Citizen and insured a better life for her children. She is very worried about the kinds of bills that may mount in the next several months, and I'd like her to be able to face the road ahead without having to be concerned about the potential financial burdens ahead.
