Hi, my name is Katrina. I created this fundraiser for my friend Heather who is in crisis. If you know Heather, you know she is known for her joyful spirit, her heart for Jesus and of course her beautiful SMILE. Yesterday, Heather’s friend mistakingly threw out her full denture (she has been wearing for 6 years now). Before they could retrieve it from the trash can, the trash had been taken out and picked up to head to the dump. To say this was devastating, is an understatement! Heather is currently on disability due to an autoimmune disease and cannot afford to replace her denture (which insurance considers “cosmetic”) and now has no front teeth to eat, chew or even SMILE. She now has NO (top) TEETH!!! To add to the stress and discomfort, her bottom teeth are all broken and because of massive bone loss, she needs (2) implant surgeries with a fixed denture (that Heather can’t afford…) cause a regular denture won’t work. PLEASE consider donating and sharing to help Heather get her SMILE back! The first $2,000 raised will go toward replacing her top full denture. Anything beyond that will go to help pay for the astronomical expense of the two implants she already needed to fix her bottom teeth and to fund the trip to get her replacement denture.
