I wanted to share an update: the surgery went very well, and I received excellent news that the tumor and surrounding areas had no malignancy. I’m celebrating!! I wanted to thank each and every one of you for your support, generosity, and kindness. I’ve received so many loving and positive messages, food right to my door, I had friends taking the best care of me post op, gorgeous flowers delivered, and this absolutely INCREDIBLE outpouring of community love and effort for mutual aid. I still cannot believe the amount of donations, THANK YOU! You all have helped make this stressful time a much smoother and calmer moment in my life. Any time I speak about the support I’ve received I start crying. Truly, I cannot thank you all enough. This means the world to me! Thank you, thank you, to the moon and back!!! Love, Haley ORIGINAL POST: Dear friends, PLEASE SHARE & REPOST! We are reaching out to share the news that our beloved friend and community member, Haley Blanchette, is in need of surgery to remove a baseball sized mass in their chest that doctors have deemed threatening. Haley will undergo two surgeries in the near future in order to remove the tumor and reconstruct the area that the tumor occupied. Haley has brought an immeasurable amount of love, compassion, and joy into the lives of every single person in her life and now she needs our help. Haley is facing an increasing amount of expenses that add to the physical and emotional burden of their diagnosis. On top of treatment and medication, they will also need to take three weeks off work from her physically demanding job in order to properly heal from the procedure. We (Haley’s friends) have set up this LFEBridge page to help with Haley’s expenses. All the monetary contributions raised will directly cover the costs of the treatments and services she’ll need to make a close to full recovery from the surgeries. Your donations will allow Haley to focus on her health and ease the worry about the financial impact of this diagnosis. We also need your help in spreading the word about Haley’s situation.
