Hello, my name is Chris Mullins and my Pops’ name is Greg. For all the local people, Greg Mullins is a drone pilot and is responsible for over 100 Ariel photos of his hometown, the New London, Ohio area. In January of this year, I called him to ask how his cataract surgery went. I noticed his speech was slurred and asked if he was put under anesthesia. He said he wasn’t and that started 6 months of tests which included the local neurologist ruling out motor neuron disease. After ALL tests came back healthy, and Dad’s condition worsening, we decided to try a neurologist at the Cleveland Clinic in June. That neurologist determined Dad had ALS, upper motor neuron disease. Here we are in July and my buddy can’t walk without a walker and can barely communicate, sometimes having to text to relay his needs. He’s still 100% in his shell but can’t get out and it’s the saddest thing I’ve ever seen. He’s developed anxiety during this journey and has trouble sleeping. So….how will $25,000 help? The greatest percentage of ALS reversal comes from alternative treatments which aren’t covered by insurance and sometimes even requires travel. I’m just a blue collar family man and Pops isn’t important to you, but he’s important to me. He taught me what I know and made me who I am. He deserves a little more time to shine. Even if you can’t give but have information that could help him, please contact me through LFEBridge. Thank you for reading this and if you pray….add Greg Mullins to your prayers.
