Hi, this is Beatriz, George’s daughter. To put it simply, my dad has had a rough few years. Back in 2016 he had major heart failure, spent 10 days in the ICU and ever since that he needs dialysis three times a week. He still never stopped working and never gave up. But in the last couple of months, things have gotten even more difficult. Water started filling his chest, restricting his breathing. After a surgery to put a drain in, he had a bad reaction to the medication and had to be placed in a rehabilitation center. He is currently dependent on an oxygen tank, still needs to do dialysis and has to do physical therapy. The insurance no longer wants to cover his stay in the rehab center, but he is in no condition to work. This fund is set up to help him cover his living expenses and healthcare related debts until we can get him the proper benefits and care. Thank you for your help! Beatriz.
