Update: After a long two weeks of fighting, Nick passed away this morning, with loved ones by his side. Though this was not the news anyone of us were anticipating, we truly appreciate all of those who checked on our family, prayed with us, and sent their support. We all are going to need prayers during this time while the family heals. There will be a service, with more details to come. Thank you all. Hello my name is Megan and I am asking for help for my twin sister Melissa and her family. Her partner of over 10 years and the father of her children was in a severe accident at Elizabeth Park on July 5th at around 9:30 p.m. and needed to be airlifted to Royal Oak Beaumont where he was put in a medically induced coma due to bleeding in his brain. His prognosis leaves us with so many questions and minimal answers. We do know if or when he will wake up, recover, or be able to work in the future. He is the main breadwinner for my sister and her family, and with their second child on the way late this fall my hope is that they can focus on him healing and recovering not how they are going to survive during this time. Please if anyone can help in anyway our family would be so truly grateful! Thank you all for your love and support. Please keep our family in your prayers.
