Hey there everyone! This fundraiser is made with the sole goal of helping a beautiful family, the Lighthizers. Tonya and Jamie are high school sweethearts who have raised 5 beautiful kids together and done nothing but make all the magic in the world come true for them. However, Gabe, their 11 year old son has been diagnosed with a genetic condition that delays his physical development. He is currently still wearing clothes meant for a 4T child. Doctors informed Tonya in the last month that he needs a growth hormone supplement to encourage healthy growth that unfortunately is not covered under their family insurance. This medication costs up to 700$ per month. With Jamie already working two jobs that keep him away from home and Tonya working 50 hours a week at her job, times are tough, not only for the parents, but the older kids that have to help out. Tonya is considering leaving her current job and work family to take a pay cut for better health insurance, even though it's a huge sacrifice for herself and her loved ones. On top of all that, Tonya and Jamie's oldest son Devon, 19, was in a car accident this past week. Not only did this accident leave him with two broken ankles and a long road to recovery,, including multiple and extensive surgeries, but the Lighthizer house will now have to be converted to make room for the wheelchair that he will be bound to for the next year or two. My heart goes out to this mother and father for the strength they have to show for their family going forward and all the love and support they will need to make it through. It would mean the world to not only them, but their children, friends, and family, if you could help in any way possible. Even the smallest amounts of kindness add up in the end.
