Hi, my name is Lupita, along with my sister Daisy & brother Jesus, we’re asking for your help for our father, David. It’s truly difficult to encompass in just a few words the amazing man our father is! David is the most generous soul you’ll ever encounter, he genuinely IS the type of person who will give you his last piece of bread, just to make sure you won’t go hungry…even if it means he will! His love for God is what drives him to help ALL who are in need, without ever asking for anything in return. My dad came to this country at the tender age of 15, with only a few dollars and many dreams of building a better future for him and his family. By the grace of God and arduous amounts of work he was able to do just that & start his own Masonry business. Through the years he helped bring many brothers & other family members to this country & set them up to excel like he did. He was blessed to be able to start his own family and for many years his business allowed him to comfortably provide for his wife, children, extended family members (& others in need). Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with Diabetes Mellitus Type 2 in the early 2000’s and still managed to continue working hard through his illness. Since his initial diagnosis, his illness has progressed and many complications came along with it too. Due to these debilitating complications, he had to sell his business, which absolutely devastated him, as he loved his profession & didn’t want to stop working but ultimately had no other option. At this point in time he is unable to work at all & was forced to relocate back to Mexico, where he is currently being treated by numerous specialists, among these the most vital, his Nephrologist because he has now entered into Stage 4 Kidney Disease. Recently, he was referred to Dr. González López, who treats patients with end-stage diseases like his, through Inducer-Based Cell Regeneration Therapy. These treatments are promising but are extremely costly & due to the exorbitant costs of such treatments, he’s unsure of how long he’ll be able to continue receiving them. We humbly ask that you find it in your hearts to help us with as little or as much as your means allow to help him regain his health so he may continue creating wonderful memories alongside his wife, children, grandkids and all those he holds dear to his heart. We also thank you in advance and ask that you keep him in your prayers…God bless you all! * Lupita, Daisy & Jesus
