Our girl Samantha needs some lifting up. Although she's played it pretty under the radar, Sam's been in and out of Houston Methodist for the last few weeks after a herniated disc in her back started slicing through a leg nerve (OUCH, Jesus.) and she needed semi-emergency surgery. Since then its been complication-city: infection, spinal fluid leak, ER visits and now another hospital admission that's looking like she'll be in there 10 days. At a minimum. The reality is: Sam is taking this like a champ - she really is. But, having only recently gotten back on her feet after a really (epically) trying Summer/Fall, Sam just. does. not. have the reserves to get through this without our help. So. LET'S HELP.If you're able to, please kick in whatever - a few dollars or a few hundred. Share this with people who know Sam and who know Con and who have big hearts. The money we raise here will pay rent for Sam and Conor's apartment (this is important - we've got to do this first part fast) while she's unable to work. It will buy food for our girl and her cub. It will allow for gas to get Con to school and Sammy to the myriad follow-up appointments that come with the kind of surgery and complications she's had. That's the bare minimum, y'all. We can do that for our girl. I know we can.
